Joe received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Slippery Rock University. After briefly teaching students for the SAT and ACT standardized tests, Joe attended Oregon Health and Science University to further his education by specializing in diagnostic imaging in medical physics. His master’s thesis focused on developing technique charts for scoliosis patients accounting for numerous variables such as patient size and room outputs. Joe successfully completed part 1 of the ABR in medical physics and is eager to enhance his knowledge in the field.
Joe joined the Upstate Medical Physics Residency program in June 2019.
He grew up in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and now lives in Brighton, NY.
Joe graduated the UMP residency in 2021 and accepted a position as a Junior Medical Physicist in Denver Colorado.
